Melvin Model name: TS-469L Firmware version: 4.1.3 Operation System (OS): Mac OS 10.QNAP SURVEILLANCE STATION User Manual (Version: 5.0.0) I'm familiar with Linux so working with console would be no problem. Since there is no message why it fails, my first question is: where can I find any logs about the starting process? Searching this forum I didn't find any idea about that. If I reload that page, the checkbox is unchecked again. If I start it using system preferences -> applications -> stations manager (check "activate SS"), then the box stays checked but the links below are still greyed out. But in any case, if I click on the on/off button in App Center (which says off) it says "please wait" and afterwards it is in off-state again.
